Merritt Clubs 2019 Step Challenge

This October, we’re challenging YOU to take part in Merritt Clubs’ first-ever Step Challenge benefiting The Red Devils and their mission to fund services that improve the quality of life for breast cancer patients and their families.

There are two parts to the Step Challenge:

  1. Move! Simple as that, from October 1 – October 31st, track your “steps” using a step counter. Examples include Fitbit or one of the following apps on an Android: Google Fit or Pedometer or on the iPhone: Health App (already on phone), Stepz or Pacer Pedometer & Step Tracker.
  1. Fundraise! While you’re working to get your steps in, help us raise money for The Red Devils. Fundraising will end October 31 at 11:59pm.

How to track your mileage: Take a picture or screenshot of your step count for the month and submit it to no later Thursday, October 31 at 11:59 PM. Challenge officials will determine the participant with the most steps reached.

Families living with breast cancer in Maryland are counting on you and your network of friends and family to help them enter or remain in life-saving treatment. Every $300 you help us raise means hope and relief for one more patient and her family.

When you raise $150 for The Red Devils you will earn a Merritt jacket!

Start Fundraising Today

1. Click on the MY HQ Page at the bottom of the confirmation email you received when you registered. You also can log in to your HQ through the Step Challenge home page.

2. Create your custom URL for your page, and follow the prompts to customize your page by adding a picture, changing the greeting text, or adjusting your fundraising goal.

3. Now that your pages is set, share, share, share! The Communications tab in your HQ gives you the option to connect and communicate through Facebook and through your email service. Remember to include your custom URL when you email and post.
